What Is Laser Genesis?
Laser Genesis is the perfect treatment for fine lines, large pores, overall redness, or uneven texture, you can get incredible results without going under the knife. With Laser Genesis, a revolutionary new non-invasive laser procedure, you can expect incredible results without the side effects or the use of topical anesthetics.
How Is Laser Genesis Performed?
Laser Genesis is a relatively quick and painless procedure. Your technician will move the laser hand piece back and forth over your skin, creating a gentle warming sensation.
The laser heats the upper dermis layer of skin, which is well below the skin’s surface, effectively stimulating collagen growth and reducing redness. You’ll be back to normal activities in no time.
Am I a Good Candidate for Laser Genesis?
The best candidates for Laser Genesis are those who are unhappy with fine lines, uneven skin texture, large pores, or overall redness. Those suffering from diffuse redness – the general appearance of facial redness caused by dilated capillaries – can also greatly benefit from this procedure. Diffuse redness is often associated with a hereditary condition known as rosacea, which most commonly affects the cheeks, nose, and forehead.
What Are the Typical Results of Laser Genesis?
Because Laser Genesis produces naturally subtle results, you may need several treatments to reach your optimal goal. We recommend four to six treatments on average every two weeks, although each patient is different.
After your series of treatments, you will be thrilled with your healthy, glowing complexion free from uneven textures, scars, and sun damage. Pores and imperfections will be diminished, and you’ll be left with a youthful, rejuvenated look.
What Are Laser Genesis Costs in San Antonio, TX?
Every patient has different facial flaws and different goals in mind, so Laser Genesis prices will fluctuate based on the individual. We recommend setting up your initial consultation to discuss your personal case and to come up with an individualized treatment plan for you. Please refer to our list price under our RESOURCES TAB.
Laser Vein Removal
What Is Spider Vein Treatment?
Those unsightly clusters of red, blue, and purple veins commonly found on your legs, feet, and elsewhere on the body can be very annoying – laser spider vein treatment is a very nice and safe way to get rid of them. The spider vein treatment procedure directs a light beam on the veins to seal them off and successfully dissolve them. Safe and efficient, you do not have to worry about damaging any of the surrounding tissue as the wavelength of the laser is targeted specifically to the pigment in the blood.
One of the benefits of this procedure is that it is relatively pain-free. Your technician will direct pulses of light energy directly on the spider veins, which may cause a tingling sensation. She will then use a chilled hand piece to cool the skin while the laser is penetrating the veins. Generally, the entire process lasts no more than 20 minutes.
Am I a Good Candidate for Spider Vein Treatment?
If spider veins on your legs, feet, face, or anywhere else on the body are causing you to feel self-conscious, you may be a perfect candidate for spider vein treatment. However, keep in mind that this treatment does not treat varicose veins – the larger, more painful veins typically found in the legs. If you have varicose veins, you should discuss other options with your doctor.

What is the Pearl Fractional treatment?
Pearl Fractional is a new, volumizing, fractional laser perfected for treating photodamaged skin in just one treatment. Pearl Fractional offers the best combination of patient experience and recovery time. Patients see improvements in brown spots, sun damage, tone and texture and have a noticeably smoother, brighter complexion.
What does “fractional” mean? How does the Pearl Fractional work?
Fractional therapy describes a treatment that exposes only a fraction of the skin to the laser beam in a pattern of tiny dots. With Pearl Fractional, laser pulses place tiny holes in the skin. Columns of damaged tissue are selectively removed, leaving surrounding skin intact. The treatment shortens healing time and stimulates the body’s own natural process for creating new collagen, plumping the skin from below and reversing photoaging and other imperfections.
- Tiny holes enable safe treatment and a rapid recovery
- Deep treatment provides results in a single session
- Controlled energy means maximum results with a more comfortable patient experience
How many treatments are recommended?
Most patients will see significant improvement after just one treatment.
Who is a candidate for Pearl Fractional?
Patients with light-to-medium skin tones and skin imperfections due to aging and sun damage will benefit from a Pearl Fractional treatment.
What areas of the face can be treated?
Pearl Fractional can be used on the entire face and is uniquely effective in treating the delicate periorbital (around the eyes) and perioral (around the mouth) areas. These areas often show the first signs of aging and can be the most challenging to treat.
How does a Pearl Fractional treatment feel?
Most patients describe the treatment as a series of fast, hot pinches. A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment to alleviate most discomfort. Practitioners may choose to augment topical creams with other medications based on patient need.
When will I see results? How soon can I wear make-up?
Many patients see improvement one week after treatment. Maximum results are visible in one to three months. Patients may apply make-up five days after treatment.
Are there any restrictions on my activity after a Pearl Fractional procedure?
After treatment, the skin looks sunburned and may be slightly swollen. Patients report little or no discomfort post-treatment. During post-care, patients apply ointment to the skin for four to five days and should limit sun exposure and wear protective clothing.
Can Pearl Fractional be part of a combination therapy?
Many patients have a Pearl Fractional treatment in combination with other existing cosmetic therapies. These include other Cutera laser and light procedures, such as Laser Genesis and LimeLight. Discuss combination treatment options with your practitioner.
How does Pearl Fractional compare to other fractional laser treatments?
Pearl Fractional’s unique laser wavelength offers a safe and effective treatment to reverse the signs of aging. This combination gives patients dramatic results in a single treatment with a quick, one week recovery period.
