“How does it work?”
Edans Med Spa now offers both Semaglutide (a.k.a Ozempic/Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (a.k.a Mounjaro). Both prescriptions mimic the GLP-1 and GIP hormones that are naturally released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating. As you administer your doses, Tirzepatide and Semaglutide help the pancreas release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are too high.
“How is the prescription administered?”
Following your initial visit with the nurse practitioner, you will receive your calculated dosage and self-administer the medication at home, adhering to the nurse practitioner’s instructions
“How quickly will I see results?”
Results can be seen as early as 2 weeks. Most patients lose up to 10 pounds their first month!
